Project Overview

Set along Sydney’s coastline, the award-winning Woolooware Duplex is a showcase of modern Australian design — and a statement of timeless material elegance. Madera Floors was selected by Clockwork Constructions to deliver a full timber flooring and stair solution across both homes, including parquetry installation, stair detailing, and subfloor construction. Every component of the flooring package was approached with precision, care, and an emphasis on longevity to match the architectural calibre of this nationally celebrated home.

Scope of Work:

Complete subfloor build-up: installation of builder’s plastic, hardwood battens (pack-levelled, pre-drilled, screw-anchored), and 19mm particleboard
Trowel-glue installation of European Oak parquetry in herringbone format over both particleboard and existing timber substrates
Flooring applied to staircases (x4), hallways, studies, master bedrooms and walk-in robes in both Duplex 1 and 2
Custom-fabricated timber stair nosings for a seamless material transition
Supply and install 3mm stainless steel flatbars at all carpet junctions, including inset detailing at master bedroom carpet in-lays
