Narraweena Project

Project Overview

Narraweena House is a bespoke residential renovation focused on timeless materiality and subtle refinement. The client sought a hardwood floor solution that would deliver both durability and design impact — with a particular emphasis on Australian native timber and artisan detailing. Madera Floors was engaged to supply and install a solid timber parquetry floor that would complement the home’s calm, minimalist interiors while retaining a strong sense of warmth and individuality.

  • Application of a specialist coating system to tone down the red hues in the timber and create a more neutral, contemporary aesthetic
  • Final detailing, including transitions and thresholds, to integrate seamlessly with joinery and architectural finishes
