Project Overview

Kingsford House is a refined architectural build where premium materials meet detailed execution. Madera Floors was engaged by Truman Building to complete a custom flooring and stair solution across key circulation areas of the home. This project balanced the warmth and consistency of European Oak flooring with bespoke American Oak stair components, precision-engineered for a seamless material transition and architectural finish.

Scope of Work:

Supply and install engineered European Oak flooring (trowel-glued) to stair landings and hallway
Fabrication and installation of custom 43mm timber nosings at the stairwell edge and hallway termination
Supply and fit 3mm flatbar at carpet thresholds for clean transitions
Manufacture and install 285mm x 43mm double-laminated American Oak stair treads, set with a 5mm shadow line for a contemporary floating aesthetic on steel stringers
On-site sanding and polishing of stair treads, custom colour-matched to the Madera White European Oak flooring finish
