Design Notes

The herringbone parquetry adds architectural texture and timeless elegance to this city apartment. Set over acoustic underlay, it meets stringent apartment compliance requirements without compromising on aesthetics. The custom stain on the oak was formulated to achieve a deep, refined tone that works harmoniously with the dark wool carpet — creating a subtle yet luxurious transition between social and private zones. Precision-installed flatbars ensure clean separation between materials while maintaining a consistent floor level.
