European Oak Timber Flooring & 100% Wool Carpet Installation

Project Overview

Glenhaven House was a full-flooring fitout across multiple living zones and levels. The project required precise integration of premium timber and carpet finishes, with a strong emphasis on warmth, acoustics, and elevated detailing. Our team worked across substrates and transitions to ensure a seamless flow between spaces, blending the textural richness of European Oak with the comfort and luxury of undyed wool carpet.

Scope of Work:

Supply and install engineered European Oak timber flooring across the rumpus, hallway, landing, and staircases 1, 2, and 3
Trowel-glued direct stick installation over particleboard subfloor
3mm flatbar used at bedroom thresholds to create clean transitions to carpeted rooms
Staircases finished with custom-made matching timber nosings for a consistent material language
Supply and installation of Signature wool carpet on premium 10mm foam underlay throughout cinema, master suite, walk-in robe, and bedrooms 2–5

The warmth of the timber is softened by the plush, tactile feel of the undyed wool carpet in the private zones. Custom stair nosings provide a considered architectural finish, while the use of 3mm flatbar at thresholds maintains visual continuity and floor-level precision throughout.
