Project Overview

Maroubra House showcases a clean, coastal aesthetic, brought to life through warm, wide-plank European Oak and understated detailing. Madera Floors was engaged to supply and install premium timber flooring across both levels of the home — including stair treads and risers — with a focus on natural textures, tonal harmony, and high-spec finishes. The project demanded expert subfloor levelling and precision installation throughout key living zones and architectural features.

Scope of Work:

Concrete subfloor levelling and preparation for timber installation
Supply and install 220mm wide European Oak flooring, trowel-glued to subfloor across all main living areas, media room, kitchen, butler’s pantry, and rumpus
Fabrication and installation of matching stair treads and risers, complete with custom timber nosings
Integration of 10mm cork expansion strips at tiled thresholds
Installation of 3mm aluminium flatbars at all carpet transitions
Full sanding and polishing of floors and stair elements for a consistent finish
